Get Outlook meeting requests to show as 'tentative'

Find out how to set up Microsoft Outlook so that meeting requests will show up on attendees' calendars as tentative until they respond to the meeting request.

I just read "Setting up automatic accepts for meeting requests." This procedure will automatically accept the meeting request and will mark it as accepted. However, this does not solve my problem. When I send a meeting request, I want it to show up on the attendee's calendar as tentative until the attendee can answer the request. Do you know how to automate this task?

This behavior is set up, by default, in Microsoft Outlook when connected to Exchange Server. When you send a meeting request, it appears in the recipient's calendar as tentative. At that time, the attendee has the option of accepting, rejecting or suggesting an alternate time for the meeting.
