The top 10 PowerCLI scripts for vSphere administrators
There are tons of scripts out there that report on rogue snapshots that cause clutter in your environment. The first script in our top-10 list, vCheck, has the ability to track down these snapshots through a plug-in.
That said, this script, written by Chris Uys, is one that I've been using for a few years now. It's not complicated; it produces a simple HTML email that checks for snapshots and reports on the name of the VM, the name of the snapshot, a description of the snapshot, when the snapshot was created and the name of the host.
