Desktop virtualization is an evolving technology that is moving more to the cloud. There are many ways to host and deliver virtual desktops from the cloud, but organizations tend to fall into one of two categories: accessing desktop as a service (DaaS) virtual desktops from a public cloud hosted by a vendor or building a private cloud.
