3 Care Orgs Tap EHR Implementations for Clinical Workflow Optimization
A family clinic in Texas and an orthopedic hospital in Pennsylvania recently invested in EHR implementations to support clinical workflow optimization.
With high levels of clinician burnout across the care continuum, healthcare organizations are leveraging EHR implementations for clinical workflow optimization.
Family Clinic Moves to eClinicalWorks System for Scalability
Care Choice Family Clinic, PLLC in Plano, TX, will implement a health IT system from EHR vendor eClinicalWorks’ to customize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
The implementation is set to allow the new family practice to deliver comprehensive patient care and scale as needed.
Care Choice Family Clinic cares for patients two years old and up, focusing on primary care, sick visits, and minor urgent care.
“I had experience with eClinicalWorks at my previous practice, so I knew it would help Care Choice create an easy-to-use back-end and patient-facing system,” Sheeba Daniel, a family nurse practitioner at Care Choice Family Clinic, said in a press release.
“Every aspect of the eClinicalWorks ecosystem works together seamlessly,” Daniel noted. “Providers can access complete patient records easily in order to minimize administrative burdens and prioritize patient care. Community Health Centers Select Epic EHR Implementation
Eleven community health centers in Iowa have partnered with OCHIN to implement an Epic EHR for patient-centered care delivery.
Managed by INConcert Care, a sister organization of the Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA), the collaboration aims to connect community health centers with integrated support for care coordination between medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services.
“We are honored to join forces with the Iowa PCA and INConcert Care to expand care access and positively impact lives through the collective knowledge and expertise of all three organizations,” Abby Sears, CEO and president of OCHIN, said in a press release.
“By working together to connect and strengthen the healthcare network in Iowa, we can ensure more equitable access to primary care for the long-term,” Sears added.
