Modern Infrastructure 2016 Impact Award Categories
Here are the categories for the 2016 Modern Infrastructure Impact Awards.
The Modern Infrastructure Impact awards recognize the top products, technologies and services in the essential areas of technology that Modern Infrastructure covers. The award-winning tools will be those helping to run enterprise businesses with efficiency and insight -- whether they're used inside the data center or outside.
Nominations are open through Oct. 2, 2015. Winners will be announced in the January issue of Modern Infrastructure.
Award Judging
A team of experts and editors will evaluate submissions and choose the top 10 finalists in each category. This list of nominees will be those products that reflect the most modern technology trends and that provide tangible operational benefits for IT organizations. Readers will then vote and provide feedback on the nominees. One winner and any honorable-mentions will be announced for each category in January.
The deadline for submission is Friday, Oct. 2, 2015. If you submit multiple products, complete one form for each product. The same product may not be entered in multiple categories. Enter through our Modern Infrastructure Impact Awards nomination form.

Entrants in the Best DevOps and Systems Management Tool category offer a service, platform or tool that enables organizations to deliver and manage their IT operations in an agile, DevOps fashion.
Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure
Entrants in the Best Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure category offer compute, memory and storage hardware that is significantly improved with software.
Software-Defined Infrastructure
Entrants in the Best Software-Defined Infrastructure category are software-only products that provide advanced infrastructure capabilities to commodity data center hardware.
AWS Consultant or Integration Partner
Entrants are consultants and integration partners helping enterprise customers with strategic planning, including cost realization, step-by-step application identification and migration, and other services related to Amazon Web Services.
Public Cloud Migration and Optimization
Entrants provide software or services that enable organization to efficiently move and run its IT operations on a public cloud service provider.
Private and Hybrid Cloud Management
Entrants offer software or services that create or manage private and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
