Impact Awards: Vote for the best Converged/Hyper-Converged Product

Vote for the best Converged/Hyper-Converged Product in the 2016 Modern Infrastructure Impact Awards.

The Modern Infrastructure Impact Awards recognize the top products, technologies and services in the essential areas of technology that Modern Infrastructure covers. The award-winning tools help run enterprise businesses with efficiency and insight -- whether they're used inside the data center or out.

Judges have whittled down the list of submissions to the finalists below. Voting is now closed. Winners will be announced in early January in a special issue of Modern Infrastructure.

Entrants in the Best Converged/Hyper-Converged Product category offer compute, memory and storage hardware that is significantly improved with software.

The companies listed below are the finalists for the 2016 Modern Infrastructure Impact Awards' best Converged/Hyper-Converged Product category.

Atlantis HyperScale CX hyper-converged appliances

Starting at $85,000 for a four-node cluster, Atlantis HyperScale hyper-converged appliances deliver all-flash storage pre-integrated on a choice of 4 server platforms at 50-90% lower cost than traditional arrays or other hyper-converged appliances.

Gridstore HyperConverged Appliance

Gridstore HyperConverged Appliance reduces data center footprint by 75%, reduces the cost-per-VM 65%, increases overall performance with all-flash infrastructure. Customers gain a 10X performance improvement, realize 4X lower TCO & 10X less management effort.

HP CS 250-HC StoreVirtual

For customers who are looking for a simple, agile and highly available virtualization system, the HP ConvergedSystem 200-HC StoreVirtual family eliminates complex solution stacks by combining powerful HP servers and mature data services from HP Storage into one building block for environments running on VMware vSphere.

Maxta MxSP 3.1.1

Maxta’s innovative software-centric hyper-converged solutions are redefining and disrupting traditional IT architectures for the virtual data center, improving flexibility and simplicity. Faster and cost effective x86 servers coupled with flash (SSD) and direct attached disk drives (HDD) enable software platforms like Maxta to maximize the promise of hyper-convergence.

Nutanix NX-3060-G4 with Acropolis Hypervisor & Prism

Nutanix Acropolis is a powerful scale-out data fabric for storage, compute and virtualization. Acropolis combines feature-rich software-defined storage with built-in virtualization in a turnkey hyperconverged infrastructure solution that can run any application at any scale. It can run any enterprise application out-of-the-box in >60 minutes, eliminates the need for standalone SAN or NAS-based storage, and reduces the complexity of legacy virtualization management while lowering virtualization costs by up to 80%.

Scale Computing HC series

Rather than treat storage, servers, virtualization, and management as different datacenter silos, HC3 products bring these all together in a comprehensive system and automates overall management. This allows IT to focus on managing applications, not infrastructure.

SimpliVity OmniStack

SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure assimilates eight to twelve core data center functions including the hypervisor, compute, storage, network switching, backup, replication, cloud gateway, caching, WAN optimization, real-time deduplication, and more.

SvSAN powered by Cisco UCS servers

StorMagic and Cisco have built a converged compute, storage and network platform that maximizes uptime and service availability for distributed IT environments, delivering highly available shared storage for locations where IT resources are scarce.

VMware EVO:RAIL

EVO:RAIL delivers compute, network, storage and management resources integrated onto an optimized 2U/4N hardware platform. EVO:RAIL combines advanced software on prescriptive hardware to deliver best-in class  Hyper-Converged Infrastructure appliance.
