Healthcare vendors announced new solutions at HIMSS22, including end-to-end revenue cycle management platforms and tools to improve patient billing processes.
A handful of software companies introduced new products this week at the annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Global Health Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida, that aim to improve revenue cycle management processes.
nThrive Launches End-to-End RCM Platform
nThrive, a healthcare revenue cycle management software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, introduced an end-to-end revenue management platform. The platform operates through a foundation of pre-trained automation, predictive models, and contextually aware billing and coding reference materials. The company aims to help providers expedite and perfect financial recovery.

Kore.ai Platform May Help Relieve Staff Shortages
Artificial intelligence platform Kore.ai launched HealthAssist, a platform that delivers virtual communication through voice and digital interactions with healthcare stakeholders, including patients, agents, employees, and consumers. According to Kore.ai, health systems can use HealthAssist to manage costs, boost engagement, enhance productivity, and maximize care time.
“HealthAssist delivers an intuitive, self-service solution to automate repeatable, easy-to-handle patient facing interactions through seamless connectivity with an organization’s electronic medical record system (EHR/EMR), multiple sources of healthcare ontologies, Admission-Discharge-Transfer (ADT), patient monitoring, billing, and other revenue cycle management solutions,” the press release stated.

RevSpring Partners with Cerner to Improve Patient Billing
Software company RevSpring announced that Cerner Corporation will integrate three of RevSpring’s payment solutions into its platforms: PersonaPay, Talksoft, and IVR Advantage. Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Medical Center has also signed an agreement to integrate the solutions to improve its revenue cycle processes.
PersonaPay improves billing processes by enabling real-time balance updates through Cerner software. Talksoft delivers automated phone, text, and email messages to healthcare providers and integrates message timing with patient schedules. IVR Advantage allows patients to access self-serve payments at any time.

SONIFI Health Products Aim to Alleviate Staff Shortages
Patient engagement technology provider SONIFI Health introduced new features for its interactive platform to alleviate staff workload challenges and improve health equity.
“Healthcare providers across the country are committed to maintaining a high standard of care for all patients as they lean into technology to overcome the enduring impact of COVID-19, staffing shortages, and shifting models of care,” Meghan Seus, vice president of product marketing for SONIFI Health, stated in the press release.
