The editors of TechTarget Inc.’s (NASDAQ: TTGT) SearchServerVirtualization.com™ have officially announced the opening of submissions for the Best of VMworld 2015 Awards. The winner will be selected from the product entrants at the VMworld 2015 conference, which takes place August 30 through September 3 in San Francisco and is sponsored by VMware. The deadline for submissions is July 29, 2015. Products must be generally available and have shipped between September 2014 and August 2015.
For the ninth straight year, TechTarget is the official media partner for the VMworld Awards. An independent team of judges consisting of experts and editors from
SearchServerVirtualization.com and its sister sites, SearchVMware.com™ and SearchVirtualDesktop.com™, will review and evaluate the products according to innovation, value, performance, reliability and ease of use.
Judges will visit contenders’ booths at VMworld 2015, and winners will be announced at the VMworld show on Tuesday, September 1st. Products must be from a company exhibiting at VMworld 2015. In addition to the other awards, a single Best of Show award will be given at the judges’ discretion.
The awards span 6 technology categories: Disaster Recovery for Virtualized or Cloud Environments; Security/Compliance and Virtualization; Workload Management and Automation; Networking and Virtualization; Desktop Virtualization and End-User Computing; and Virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure. Additionally, a Best of Show award winner will be chosen among the winners in the above categories.
Only products currently available for purchase will be considered for all categories. Products being demonstrated but not available for purchase will be considered only for the New Technology category.
