Information technology (IT) media company TechTarget (https://techtarget.com) announced today that it has partnered with Netremedia Pte Ltd (http://www.netremedia.com) to launch TechTarget Asia, a network of English-language Web sites and magazines targeted to specific communities of Southeast Asian IT professionals. TechTarget Asia media will provide news, expert advice and other information that IT professionals need to make purchase decisions, develop technical expertise and address IT challenges in the enterprise.
TechTarget Asia will serve English-speaking IT professionals throughout the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). IDC estimates that IT spending in the Asia-Pacific region excluding Japan reached $88 billion in 2004 and would rise 10% in 2005 . ASEAN includes: Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia. TechTarget Asia will launch Asian versions of Bitpipe.com, SearchCIO.com, SearchStorage.com, SearchSecurity.com and several Windows-related sites, as well as regional editions ofInformation Security and Storage magazines. TechTarget also announced a reciprocal sales agreement with Netremedia, enabling each company to sell advertising on the other’s media.
