Tom Pannell

Tom Pannell is the senior director of IoT products at Silicon Labs, overseeing product strategies for the company's 8- and 32-bit microcontrollers, wireless SoCs, wireless modules and sensors, as well as hardware and software tools and wireless protocol stacks simplifying IoT product development. Tom joined Silicon Labs in 2011 and previously served as the company's marketing director for microcontrollers and also director of channel sales for the Americas. Prior to joining Silicon Labs, Tom held technical field positions at Altera Corporation and Arrow Electronics. He holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and a bachelor degree in philosophy and the humanities from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
