Tianqi Li

Tianqi is the Carbon Trust’s expert in corporate business consulting, leading the sustainability advisory and carbon label assurance services across the IT and technology, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), construction and infrastructure, financial institute and manufacturing sectors.

Tianqi also supported international legislation and sustainability standard setting, including the EU Commission’s Product Environmental Footprint guidelines, the UK government’s Industrial Strategy and London borough council’s climate action strategies.

Before joining the Carbon Trust, Tianqi worked with the Mayor of London on creating the clean-tech cluster, built partnerships and established pan-London climate action groups across the corporate and public sectors .

In her personal time, Tianqi is a mentor to social and sustainability impact start-ups, she supported the climate crisis campaign securing the publication of a parliamentary bill on retrofitting public school buildings.

Tianqi holds a PhD degree in designing and implementing sustainability assessment for energy technology portfolios.
