Raihan Islam

Raihan Islam is Principal Advisor and Startup Coach at defineXTEND Ltd t/a High-Velocity Startups, a startup accelerator helping entrepreneurs and directors achieve their most important milestones applying legal, management, and technology product expertise.

He previously led product management for the Cybersecurity Business of EPAM Systems, supporting business development and delivery for penetration testing and governance, risk, and compliance areas, and drafting master service agreements and statements of work.

Prior to this, he trained at City law firm Fieldfisher in London, qualifying as a solicitor admitted to practice in the laws of England & Wales. He went on secondment with the in-house legal team of Amazon UK, where he managed dozens of escalations to minimize risk of disputes and supported enforcement of the marketplace's transaction risk management approach, terms & conditions, privacy policy, and intellectual property policy.

He studied Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University and Law at King’s College London.

He is also co-founder of the non-profit Everything Will Be Ukraine, which provides information awareness to support humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
