Peter Mehring

As co-founder and CEO of Zest Labs, Peter Mehring is leading the modernization of the fresh food supply chain by introducing IoT technology and real-time analytics to the post-harvest agriculture space. With extensive experience in engineering, operations and general management at emerging companies and large enterprises, Peter has led the development of technologies that address the most important needs of businesses involved in delivering fresh produce and meat.

Prior to joining Zest Labs, Peter was vice president of Mac hardware group at Apple and has also been a senior vice president of engineering at Echelon and founder, general manager and vice president of R&D at UMAX. Peter has 17 issued U.S. patents, and continues to bring his experience and insights to help define new solutions at Zest Labs.
