Mark Raeburn

Mark leads the cyber defence team in UK and Ireland at Accenture Security. The team provides high-end cyber defence, intelligence-driven red team, vulnerability research and incident response services and has been involved in some of the most advanced incident response cases in the industry.

Mark has more than 30 years of experience in the security industry. He served in the army before moving into commercial security and was head of security at PwC, prior to founding Context Information Security, now part of Accenture. He helped establish Crest, the not-for-profit accreditation and certification body representing the technical information security industry and chaired the Security Researchers Information Exchange, organised by the NCSC. Mark also helped the Bank of England create CBEST, a cybers ecurity framework designed to help financial institutions identify areas of vulnerability that could be exploited by cyber attacks.
