Lynne Canavan
Executive Director, OpenFog Consortium
Lynne Canavan is the executive director of the OpenFog Consortium, the global organization formed to accelerate the adoption of fog computing in order to solve the bandwidth, latency and communications challenges associated with IoT. OpenFog Consortium was founded by ARM, Cisco, Dell, Intel, Microsoft Corp. and Princeton University in November 2015, and has today has members in North America, Europe and Asia. Previously, Lynne was vice president of program management for the Industrial Internet Consortium where she oversaw the activities of the Consortium's Working Groups, member services and broader ecosystem initiatives. She is an active participant in IoT events and served as Chair of the Program Committee for the inaugural IOT Solutions World Congress event in 2015. Previously, Lynne was a senior manager at IBM, where she focused on new initiatives with IBM's largest alliance partners.
