Javier Jiménez

As President of Magic Software, Javier Jiménez brings a wealth of over 20 years of experience in executive and sales management, operations and financial management with startup and established high-technology companies, including Comverse Technology, iWeb Technologies, BluePhoenix Solutions and PeerApp.

From 2003 to 2008, Jiménez served as vice president and general manager of international markets for Comverse Technology, where he quadrupled revenue growth over a three-year period from $35 million to $116 million. During his tenure at Comverse Technology, he also held a variety of management positions in systems engineering, program management, channel management and executive management.

Jiménez served as the vice president of sales Latin America for iWeb Technologies, and as officer and vice president and general manager Americas of Blue Phoenix Solutions. Prior to that, Jiménez was the founder and CEO of Scientia Network Solutions, a boutique consultancy firm specializing in the introduction of innovative technologies to specific market segments in the United States and Latin America.

Jiménez also held the position of senior vice president for PeerApp, where he tripled sales within two years from less than $10 million to almost $30 million.

Jiménez holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from College of the Air Force, has completed studies toward an MBA through Dowling College, and has also completed executive-level courses with Technion in cooperation with Harvard and MIT.
