He has held the IT industry's top security and audit designations, (ISC)2's Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and ISACA's CISA (audit) and CISM (security) certificates.
In 2012, he was deeply honored to receive the Ron Muns Lifetime Achievement Award from HDI for his contributions to the technical service and support industry. Early in his career he was appointed to the faculty of Yale University and, subsequently, spent several years as a consultant to the White House and White House conferences.
