Dr. Diane Groth is the owner of Laetare Cybersecurity LLC, based in Baltimore. Groth's entire career has been in the field of security. Her career assignments spanned positions as a network security engineer, systems security engineer, cybersecurity scientist, cybersecurity engineer, chemical and biological researcher and lead scientific writer for a scientific engineering encyclopedia, cybersecurity writer, and knowledge manager and big data analyst. Groth has been employed as a GG15 executive senior systems engineer at the National Security Agency, defense contractor for leading contracting firms and university professor. She has taught Ph.D. and master's degree students at the U.S. Naval Academy, The Catholic University of America, University of Maryland, Webster University and Capitol Technology University in the schools of engineering, business and cybersecurity, as well as private cybersecurity training courses. Groth has authored cybersecurity articles as a freelance writer. Her interests are privacy, IoT, emerging technologies and security. She has been a symposium speaker on cybersecurity in critical infrastructures. She shares her talents with church, family and friends.
