Chris Wellise

As Chief Sustainability Officer at HPE, Christopher Wellise draws upon his experience in business, science and engineering to analyze how organizations innovate, develop and market products; consume energy and natural resources; and produce waste streams, to find ways to bring businesses closer to economic, social and environmental sustainability. Christopher directs the global Living Progress team, focused on solving social and environmental challenges in collaboration with nonprofit organizations, governments, customers and partners. Christopher also plays a key role in shaping HPE's vision for the Circular Economy -- one that is centered around keeping products, components and materials at their highest utility and value at all times, and eliminating waste across a product's lifecycle through superior design and reuse. Recently, HPE developed a new Circular Economy Report, aimed at helping organizations measure their contributions to corporate sustainability goals when retiring end-of-use assets.
