Cath Goulding
CISO, Nominet
Cath Goulding is chief information security officer (CISO) at Nominet and a board member of the Women’s Security Society. Cath has over 15 years' experience in the cyber security profession having worked for both the UK government and the private sector.
A thought leader in her field, she has sat on several panels, and has recently been interviewed on the BBC, discussing how Nominet has helped defend the .uk infrastructure from harm.
Her career has been profiled in the Financial Times and she was interviewed by BBC World promoting women into the IT profession. Cath has led initiatives that have directly contributed to Nominet’s success in the IT security field, including Domain Watch, which is helping to fight phishing and combating malicious activity, which ultimately protects UK citizens as well as increasing trust in Nominet services.
Cath is involved in Nominet’s activities in youth encouragement, such as CyberFirst in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Centre, helping to bring young talent into cyber roles through bursaries and competitions, amongst other campaigns
