Aaron Tan

Aaron is a seasoned media and information professional with over two decades of experience in journalism and information management at leading media outlets and government organisations including the National Library Board of Singapore and Infocomm Development Authority. 

He started his journalism career at The Straits Times, Singapore’s national newspaper, before joining ZDNet Asia to cover enterprise technology. He is also a founding editor of a technology blog that provides authoritative news and insights on technology trends in Singapore and Asia.

At Enterprise Strategy Group, now part of Informa TechTarget's Omdia research team, Aaron was regional director for Asia-Pacific, where he helped clients identify and quantify key market trends on a wide range of technology topics, including cloud infrastructure, DevOps, business applications and cyber security in the region.

Aaron has a Masters degree in library and information science from Syracuse University, New York.
